I wouldn’t mind having universal healthcare. but a main argument I’ve heard opposing this is that in countries with universal healthcare people have to pay more taxes.

Healthcare is not a responsibility. Healthcare is a human right. All this is insurance companies mudding the water. Demand universal healthcare. This is killing and bankrupting americans. Criminal.

This system appears to be fucked up in America. It’s all free of charge here in Slovenia and other places in Europe.

You may pay $120 for a PCP visit, but you’re also paying maybe $200 less a month in premium. In the end, you are still saving money.

Yeah - no Copays. Instead say hello to COINSURANCE, which means instead of paying a lower out of pocket expense to see a doctor ($25/visit) you now have to pay a percentage of the contracted rate your doctor has with your health carrier (could be $133/visit). I worked at CIGNA HealthCare and had an HMO plan with a $30 PCP Copay. Then about four years ago they forced all employees into a CDHP. I was paying $120 for a PCP visit!
This video is catchy and informative, but know this Coinsurace>Copay
