    Of course the incidence of being in a ********* should go up over time. That’s not a “reason,” it’s just an acknowledgment that you can’t magically take back having participated in a *********. My emphasis was clearly on the significant jump from 20-some% in their 30s to 45% of those 40+ (especially considering the unlikeliness of those 60+). Sexually stagnant couples are clearly the main participants, but it still seems surprising that nearly HALF of EVERYONE (married or not) has done it.

    There are 2 good reasons for the statistic going up. The incidence of being in a ********* once should go up over time. Also they are tangentially alluding to the fact that the wifeswapping swingers scene is mostly older guys with milf wives. Young couples aren’t getting married as much today and consequently aren’t so sexually jaded as to need threesomes.

    That statistic doesn’t make sense to me. It seems like college would be the most likely time for a ********* to occur, yet the “yes” percentage increased dramatically between the ages of 30 and 40? Whaaat, where do these people work?
